What is Diva?       Diva is a dictionary tool. Diva is pretty small and its main advantage is that it was done by me :) Any other advantages are not guaranteed. I'm personally using it instead of dict or stardict. The database of dictionaries supported by diva is not large for now, but I have lots of them on my PC. As soon as I have formated them to diva format I will upload them to this server. If you have some dictionaries please send them to me, or tell me where to get them from.

System requirements       Operational system: Diva was developed for Linux, but it uses standard C functions, that's why I've used it successfully under Windows (both 9x and NT). If you run it on any other OS please tell me. Versions after 0.1.1 have internal regexp support, so Windows users can use it without Cygwin environment. Cygwin versions are no longer provided. Hardware requirements I ran Diva on Duron 900Mhz with 96RAM. I don't know what are minimal requirements, but I think most PCs will be ok. Necessary libraries You must have Zlib if you want to build Diva from the source code.

I want to get Diva. What should I do?       Firstly, get Diva source code or binaries from "Downloads" section. Then look at the list of dictionaries and download the ones you need. And, finally, install all files. For more information read the documentation. I'm not liable for any damage caused by this program.
